Manage Customer Loyalty

Building customer loyalty gives you a high return on the time, effort and money you invest in providing good customer service. Customer loyalty is a customer’s commitment to your brand. A loyal customer will always choose you over the competition.

On completion of this unit, participants should be able

  • To understand the different type of customer loyalty and retention programmes and identify the ones that work for your organisation
  • To introduce customer loyalty and retention programmes that is align to organisation policies and procedures and engage with stakeholders effectively
  • To evaluate the success of customer loyalty and retention programmes and coordinate resources to achieve them
  • To train and coach staff in promoting customer loyalty and retention programmes as well as managing service challenges

Customer loyalty is a customer’s commitment to your brand. A loyal customer will always choose you over the competition, maybe because of your excellent customer service, unbeatable product selection or something that differentiate you from the rest. Building customer loyalty gives you a high return on the time, effort and money you invest in providing good customer service. Loyal customers buy more, more regularly, and the cost of selling to them is low. They will also frequently recommend your business to others. Loyal customers are the most valuable asset for any brand to hold onto. This is because returning customers spend, on average, 67% more than customers who are new to your brand.

Admission Criteria

Minimum Age: 16

For Local Students

  • Minimum 1 GCE O-level; OR
  • NITEC or Higher NITEC; OR
  • Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old with 8 years work experience); OR
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be assessed on case-by-case basis

For International Students

  • Completion of Year 10; OR
  • Completion of below Year 10 will be considered if it is an official completion of High School in the country of origin; OR
  • Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on case-by-case basis

English language requirement:

  • Grade C6 in any GCE O-level subjects conducted in English, OR
  • Successfully pass Golden Compass School English Placement Test; OR
  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (applicable for International students)

Academic Level: Any 3 subjects pass N (A) level is grade 5 and above or N(T) level as grade D and above

Course Fees: S$790

Award of Certificate:
Upon successful completion of coursework and examination, and a minimum of 75% attendance, students will be awarded a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) and Certificate by Golden Compass School.
